Communications Manager Role at the Royal Ocean Racing Club
From the world-renowned Rolex Fastnet Race and Admiral's Cup to the RORC Caribbean 600 and our Cowes-based offshore series, our events bring together an international community of members, owners, competitors and supporters. Behind every race are remarkable stories—and we're looking for someone to help us share them.
This new role offers the opportunity to shape and lead RORC's communications, marketing and digital activity at an exciting time for the Club, with the Admiral's Cup and Rolex Fastnet Race ahead in 2027.
You'll be the guardian of the RORC brand, connecting our racing programme, membership and Club life through compelling content, effective media relations and coordinated campaigns. Working closely with colleagues, contributors and commercial partners, you'll help strengthen engagement and bring RORC's stories to a wider audience.
We're looking for an experienced communications professional who combines creativity and excellent writing with strong organisational skills, sound judgement and a personable, collaborative approach. Experience in sailing, sport, events or membership organisations would be welcome.
