Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction to groups of up to 24 trainees in: Electronic engineering and electrical machine principles (NVQ Level 4/5) and Basic electronics and mathematics (Level 2/3)
  • Conducting practical lab sessions, demonstrating key principles and supervising trainee experiments
  • Administering and invigilating both paper-based and online examinations
  • Marking and check-marking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Maintaining and updating training materials
  • Collaborating with Training Design staff to align content with DSAT standards and submit updates for approval

About the Role

Foundation Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline) is required. Previous experience working as an Engineer is desirable. This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata\’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
