Providing constructive, commercial and cost effective financial support and expertise to help the RNLI deliver our Lifesaving Effect, ensure that we spend donors money wisely and deliver value for money.Some of the benefitsSalary Up to 65,410 (dependent on experience)Flexible working26 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)Outstanding pension scheme Life assuranceHealth and dental cashplan optionYour roleAs a Strategic Finance Business Partner, you will provide first-class financial decision support, planning and analysis to departments and major projects within the RNLI, providing the right information, to the right people, at the right time, for the right decisions. As Strategic Finance Business Partner you will:Build relationships with and provide a full financial guidance and support service to your customersLead the departments on financial planning and forecastingAttend relevant departmental and project meetings, ensuring there is a finance presence where appropriateDeliver regular financial reports and ad-hoc financial analysis for your customers, finance department and external auditorsAbout youOur ideal candidate will have:A strong background in financial decision support and planning in a similar fast paced environmentExcellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence at senior levels, and experience in providing constructive challenge as requiredExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.This role will work with a central FP&A team, who will help you with all aspects of decision support and planning.If you consider yourself to be someone who enjoys and demonstrates a ‘hands-on’ approach to your role, has well-developed customer care skills, with the ability to liaise at a senior level, then apply today!In return for your passion and expertise, you will receive an excellent benefits package (see Summary of Benefits document for more details), as well as the knowledge that your skills and experience are helping the RNLI to Save Every One.SafeguardingThe RNLI is committed to safeguarding; protecting a person’s health, wellbeing, and human rights, enabling them to live free from harm, abuse, and neglect.
