This role is important to us and this is where you come in…. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to grow our reach to support people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus through our RNID Near You community services. These services are delivered in accessible local community settings through a local coordinator and volunteers to offer:

  • practical hearing aid support
  • information on hearing loss and tinnitus
  • hearing checks

You will have responsibility for the successful management and delivery of these services across your area.

You will:

  • Manage your service hubs to ensure high quality, standardised delivery of RNID Near You – meeting performance and KPI targets delivery within budget with an eye to continuous improvement.
  • Support your team through positive and encouraging line management to deliver RNID Near You to the highest standards.
  • Work with the Community Services Development Team to record and collate KPI information ensuring that your services are delivering to target and act quickly to ensure plans are in place to remedy poor performance.
  • Liaise with key partners and stakeholders to deliver mutual satisfaction of performance and ensure long term funding of our services.

You will have a strong background in service delivery to target and to a high standard. You will have experience of supporting staff or volunteers to deliver service activity. You will have an eye for detail and record keeping (monitoring and evaluation) and deliver your work to deadline for your team. You will have experience of preparing and managing budgets with knowledge of routine finance and budget processes. You can work remotely and use technology to not be limited by geography. You will be deaf aware and fully committed to the RNID EDI principles in every aspect of your work.
