The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for culture to help grow our online reach, reputation and revenue through strategic email marketing. Working within a dynamic Marketing team, the postholder will be responsible for developing impactful campaigns and driving forward our email marketing strategy. They will oversee the entire email marketing process, from content planning and creation to automation, audience segmentation, and performance analysis. This will include working closely with key stakeholders and the Email User Group, managing campaign calendars, driving best practice, and reporting on performance to optimise our email marketing efforts.
The successful candidate will have experience planning and executing consumer-facing email campaigns, while leveraging data insights to build audience engagement and maximise ROI. They will also have strong analytical skills, with experience using data insights and A/B testing to improve engagement; be commercially minded with a track record of using email marketing to drive revenue; and knowledge of interrogating data and following a test and learn approach in order to continually optimise results. Experience working with CRM systems and data segmentation strategies is desirable.
This is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover position in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management.
