Mencap is looking for an exceptional Director of Communications and Brand, a strategic, creative, and values-driven leader ready to take our communications to the next level. This role is a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent role. We’re offering flexibility as to where this role is based.
In this pivotal role, you’ll:
- Lead Mencap’s organisation-wide communications vision, shaping a bold, influential, and consistent voice.
- Position Mencap as the leading organisation championing people with a learning disability.
- Drive high-impact campaigns that influence public attitudes and policy change.
- Lead teams responsible for media relations, digital channels, social media, brand identity, and strategic communications.
- Champion innovation, accessibility, inclusion, and data-driven decision-making across all communications work.
- Strengthen Mencap’s reputation, increase visibility, and amplify the voices of people with a learning disability.
