In this role you will be supporting the Information and Advice team with administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with an interest in learning more about how our help line works to help us with a range of administrative tasks - this could include pulling reports from our database, tidying up data on both excel and our CRM system (Microsoft dynamics 365), as well as quality checking.

It is important that you have access to your own computer for this role, as well as some experience in using excel and CRM or database management experience.

Most of this role takes place at home using your own equipment, and the team will be as flexible as they can be around your availability to volunteer, however ideally you will be available to volunteer on Wednesdays.

About the team you will be joining: The Information and Advice Team provide vital services to people with a learning disability. They run our Learning Disability Helpline which is available to everyone, whether you are a person with a learning disability, a family member or a friend. They also create and share resources and as part of this service they offer training in Learning Disability Awareness to external organisations.

When do I need to be available? This role is home based and flexible, however ideally you will be available to volunteer on Wednesdays.

Activities you could get up to whilst volunteering could include:

  • Pulling and updating reports
  • Inputting data into Excel and our CRM
  • Supporting the team with quality checks
  • Anything else the team needs help with!
