Our campaign helps people with a learning disability get on the Learning Disability Register at their GP surgery, and by supporting us you will be helping us to make a real difference!

What is the Learning Disability Register? The Learning Disability Register is a list at your doctor’s surgery. People with learning disabilities can be on it. Being on the register means:

  • Research
  • Supporting with events logistics

When do I need to be available? Ideally you will be based in or around Greater London. Most of the roles take place at home, with occasional travel to our London office as required (these expenses will be covered). Access to your own laptop would be beneficial, and can have access to software like a printer at the London Office. The team will be as flexible as they can be around your availability to volunteer.

What skills would be beneficial?

  • It would help if you can use a computer or are willing to learn.
  • Like organising things
  • Are friendly and work well with others
  • Want to help people with learning disabilities

We are very open to people of all backgrounds and will provide you with any necessary training for this role.
