Overview

Mencap is seeking full-time passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Westcliff-on-Sea.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

Our Westcliff service provides support to unique individuals who have profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as other complex healthcare needs.

You will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.

Contract and shifts: All our services are 24hr care.

We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life.

There is also a sleep-in option with an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Contribute to the comfort, dignity, and happiness of the people we support.
