We\’re Hiring: Support Worker – Keady, Northern Ireland

Organisation: Mencap
Location: Keady, Northern Ireland
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Sleep-in Enhancement: £63.70 per night

What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker, you\’ll play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your support will be tailored to each person’s unique needs and could include:

  • Assisting with personal care, daily routines, and household tasks
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement
  • Supporting with community engagement, appointments, and activities
  • Being a friendly, trusted companion and advocate

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

Shift Patterns

Our services run 24/7, and rotas are shared at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan ahead.

  • Day Shifts: Between 07:00 – 22:00
  • Sleep-in Shifts: 22:00 – 07:00 (Flat rate of £62.45 per sleep-in)

  • This role is subject to an Enhanced Access NI check, NISCC registration, and suitable references
  • Please note: While Mencap is a licensed sponsor, we are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role due to a high volume of internal sponsorship applications.
