Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team at our Boston 2 Service in Lincolnshire.
As a Support Worker, you\'ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support, playing a vital role in their lives.
Requirements:
- A driver is preferred.
- Ability to do sleep-in shifts when scheduled.
- Experience in moving and handling.
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
- Full-time (37.5 hrs) or part-time (20 hours).
Sleep-in shifts are compensated with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
