Mencap is seeking Support Workers to join our team in Bishop Auckland.

The role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities by assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist tenants with daily activities.
  • Provide emotional and social support.
  • Support up to 4 tenants; sleep‑ins may be required.
  • Drive as required.

Qualifications

  • Genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
