Mencap is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Southampton. As a Relief Support Worker, you will make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities by supporting a diverse group of 12 individuals, assisting with daily activities at home and in the community, and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities at home and in the community for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Provide emotional support and promote well-being.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients, families, colleagues, and professionals.
Qualifications

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Contract & Compensation
- All services are 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least four weeks in advance to allow personal planning.
- A non-contractual sleep-in option is available with an enhanced flat-rate payment of £64.20.
- Annual salary: £25,577 per annum (pro-rata) with excellent benefits.
