Mencap is looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Bourne, Lincolnshire. In this role you will support individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support and building meaningful relationships.
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
- Drivers are preferred, and you must be able to do sleep‑ins when required
Contract and hours:
Contract options: relief. All our services are 24‑hr care. We prepare the rota at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your personal life. Shifts will include weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and sleep‑ins. Sleep‑ins receive an enhanced flat‑rate payment of £64.20.
