Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Trimley St Martin. This role requires you to be a driver. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities and practical tasks to support individuals with learning disabilities.
- Provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with individuals and their families.
- Collaborate with the care team to promote independence and wellbeing for those supported.
What we’re looking for

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Contract & Shift
- Contract type: Relief
- All our services are 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance to help you plan your personal and social life.
- There is also a non-contractual sleep-in option with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
