Mencap is seeking Relief Support Workers in Long Eaton to provide daily assistance and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily activities and provide emotional and social support.
  • Work within a 24‑hour care environment, covering various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Drive as required (valid driver licence and permission to use a vehicle).

Qualifications:

  • Passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays).
  • Positive and empathetic attitude towards people with learning disabilities.
  • Valid driver licence.
  • All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
