Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our team in Blaenau Gwent. As a Relief Support Worker you will make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, working with a diverse group of people and assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities for people with learning disabilities.
- Provide emotional and practical support.
- Support people during 24‑hour care provision and collaborate with the team.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Empathetic and positive attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driving licence and the ability to drive.
