We have exciting opportunities for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team in our Omagh Supported Living Service. You will generally be working Monday to Friday 9-5pm but you may be required to help out in the service occasionally on an evening or weekend. In addition to undertaking managerial tasks, you will also work alongside support workers and act as a role model, demonstrating good practice to other members of the team. You must have experience working in the care sector with people with learning disabilities/autism and/or behaviours that challenge. You will be supported by specialist bespoke training in advance to fully meet the needs of the people we support.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and developing the staff team to provide the best service.
- Supporting the team to be compliant in their induction and training.
- Undertaking effective supervisions for team members.
- Review support plans and risk assessments, attend reviews, liaise with professionals and family.
- Use electronic systems and recording.
You should be competent in using IT and have a full UK driver’s licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternate forms of transport, should the applicant be unable to meet this criteria due to a disability.

You will also receive training in using Officebase, The Managers assurance tool, finance processes and other management training provided by Learning & Development.
