Mencap is hiring Female Support Workers to provide 24‑hour care to two ladies in Bedlington and a woman in Ashington.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for daily personal care, medication and hygiene for a woman requiring intensive personal care.
- Offer minimum personal care support to a second woman.
- Assist with finances, weekly shopping, meal planning and cooking for a resident in Ashington.
- Accompany all residents to local community activities, tea and coffee, and annual holidays.
- Provide sleep‑over support from 8pm each night.
- Prepare and adhere to rotation schedule, ensuring at least 4 weeks notice.
- Maintain detailed care notes and comply with all Mencap policies.
