As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meals, and medication management.
- Provide emotional and social support to improve well-being and confidence.
- Support and accompany individuals during community outings, events, and appointments.
- Record observations, incidents, and progress as required by care plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting others and a positive, empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Data-safety and confidentiality training, and a current enhanced DBS check are required.
- Part-time role – between 7am & 9pm.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to drive regularly as part of the role.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Part-time – 7am to 9pm, with flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Vehicle & Travel
