Mencap is seeking passionate Male Support Workers to join our team in Litherland, Liverpool.
As a Support Worker, you\’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives.
What we\’re looking for:

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours
Shift times:
All our services provide 24-hour care. Rota planning is done at least 4 weeks in advance to help you plan your personal and social life.
- Days: Between 10:00 am – 10:00 pm and 7:30 am – 10:00 am
- Sleepover: 10:00 pm – 7:30 am

There is also a sleep-in option with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.

This position is for male applicants only, as required by the nature of the service. The post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
