We are looking for a volunteer befriender to visit a lovely, chatty older gentleman with a learning disability in Wimbledon. All he asks for is somebody with a listening ear, a kind attitude and a willingness to engage in a lively conversation. He’s keen to discuss politics, current affairs and share stories of his time in South Africa and London. If you’re up for building companionship and a 1‑2‑1 connection over an hour or so every two months, this would be a great volunteering opportunity.

In this role you will spend quality time with the person you visit and could do a range of activities such as:
