Driver essential for this role. Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Female Support Workers to join our incredible team in Penrhyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy. We have 1 full-time (37.5 hours) position and 1 part-time (20 hours) position available.
Responsibilities
As a Female Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you will play a vital role in their life.
What we’re looking for

Contract options
- Full-time: 37.5 hours
- Part-Time: 20 hours
Most of our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life! There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references, one of which must be your most recent/current employer. You will also need to hold a valid, full UK driving licence as this is essential for the role.
Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
