Do you have experience in project management? Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you want to work for a charity whose purpose is to make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join our growing Legacy Marketing Team.
Our Legacy Marketing Team is responsible for marketing and raising awareness of Gifts in Wills, our Wills and Trusts service and In Memory giving. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and permanent. It offers flexible working arrangements, allowing colleagues to work both from home and in the office. We welcome applications from candidates across the UK. However, please note that the successful candidate will need to travel to our London office at least once a week, specifically on Tuesdays.
What will you be working on as a Legacy Marketing Officer?
- Supporting on cross-channel acquisition campaigns to increase quality leads across Gifts in Wills, In Memory and our Wills and Trusts service.
- Act as a point of contact for enquiries from supporters and work with Supporter Care to provide personalised stewardship.
- Develop and monitor Mencap’s In Memory processes and stewardship
- Provide general administration support across the team including taking ownership of integral key processes on our supporter database
What will you need to be as a Legacy Marketing Officer?
- Comfortable talking to supporters over the phone, in person and over email about gifts in Wills and in memory donations
- Have the ability to grow and maintain relationships with supporters and suppliers
- A quick learner on our data processes and have the ability to identify improvements and areas for growth
- Someone who is passionate about working for a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of people with a learning disability
