We are looking for Female Support Workers to join our Service based in Kidwelly. This role requires you to be a driver and hold a full UK driving licence. As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives. You will support activities such as music, craft, cooking, gardening, allotment work, local walks, board games, pool and darts, and provide kind companionship.
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
- Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week
- Part‑time: flexible hours based on availability
Schedule:
- Days: 07:00 – 22:00
- Sleep‑ins: 22:00 – 07:00 (enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20)
Employment conditions:
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references. Due to the nature of this service, the role is for female applicants only. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
Salary: £26,228 per annum, pro rata, plus excellent benefits.
