Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Crymych, Pembroke.
As a Support Worker you will support individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily activities and emotional support.
- Build meaningful relationships and communicate effectively with those you support.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Driver of a manual car (this role requires a manual car).
Contract options
- Part-time: 24 hours.
Shift times
- Days: 09:00-21:00.
- Sleep‑Ins: 21:00-09:00 (enhanced flat‑rate payment of £63.70).
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
