We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join Mencap’s team in Crymych, providing support for people with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities and personal care.
  • Provide emotional and social support to individuals.
  • Work within a diverse group, building meaningful relationships.
  • Maintain a flexible shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere to 24‑hour care schedules and prepare rosters at least four weeks in advance.
  • Take up sleep‑in duties when available, earning an enhanced flat rate of £63.70.

Qualifications

Contract & Remuneration

  • Contract options: Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week; Part‑time: 16–30 hours per week.
  • £12.60 per hour plus a range of employee benefits, including pension, holiday buying and training opportunities.
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro‑rata for part‑time).
