We are looking for volunteers who are confident in driving and want to help some of the people we support to increase their access to their local area. Our service in Penzance supports around ten residents with learning disabilities, and we often struggle to transport them to access the community. If you could spare some time you could make a massive difference by enabling them to do this.
Responsibilities
- Drive a person or group of people we support on short journeys, from their home or activity centre to nearby locations and back.
Requirements
- Be over 21 and have a full driving licence.
- Ideally have access to your own vehicle.
Availability
The days and times required for the role are flexible depending on both your availability and the needs of the people you will be driving. If you can only spare a little time, please do get in touch as anything would help.
