We are looking for a Supported Internship Administrator who thrives in a busy environment where no two days are the same. This role is based in our Birmingham City Centre Office for 22.5 hours per week.

The Role

You will be the backbone of our employability programmes. This isn’t just about filing; it’s about providing the essential administrative and operational support that allows our local teams to change lives. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders – from local authorities to parents and carers – ensuring our program runs effectively and stays compliant.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Operational Oversight: Managing administrative tasks for Access to Work claims and maintaining accurate data within learner management systems.
  • Compliance & Finance: Monitoring debt, processing invoices, and ensuring all regulatory and local authority information is up to date.
  • Team Support: Assisting the Education Centre Manager and wider team with meeting coordination, document archiving, and adhering to critical deadlines such as EHCP reviews.
  • Communication: Acting as a professional point of contact for stakeholders, parents, and carers.

  • Strong Foundations: Excellent organisational, record‑keeping, and communication skills.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency in Office 365 and an ability to quickly learn new IT systems.
  • Initiative: The ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have provided administrative support within an educational or similar setting.
  • Attitude: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people with SEND.
