What You'll Bring NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, with guided development if needed Proven experience in a care setting, with the ability to lead, motivate and support teams Confidence in guiding staff to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Calm, empathetic approach, building trust with residents, families, and colleagues Commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement in care and documentation
About the Role In this senior leadership role, you'll support the Home Manager to oversee care delivery and team performance. You'll mentor and supervise staff, ensure residents' needs are met with dignity and consistency and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. You'll also liaise with families, health professionals and external stakeholders, helping the home run safely and smoothly every day.
You will be a visible and supportive presence, guiding the team, auditing care plans, managing medication processes and helping implement improvements that enhance residents' wellbeing.
