As Training Manager, you'll lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of all learning and development activities for our home staff. From mandatory training and Care Certificate programmes to experiential learning and induction, you'll ensure our teams are supported, skilled and confident to deliver exceptional care. If you have worked as a Care Trainer, Training Officer, Learning and Development Practitioner or Skills Coach, and love helping colleagues grow through coaching and training, you belong here.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience delivering learning and development programmes, including mandatory training, Care Certificate, and induction support
  • Strong coaching, presentation, and interpersonal skills to inspire and support colleagues
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and review experiential learning activities and staff development initiatives
  • Good knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards, CQC or CSSIW requirements, and compliance frameworks
  • Flexibility to support staff across all shifts within your home, including evenings, weekends, and nights
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

About the Role

You will be the go-to person for staff development within your home, ensuring all colleagues from front-line care staff to management are trained, confident, and supported. Your role combines delivering hands-on learning, coaching in practice, evaluating outcomes, and keeping accurate records of attendance and progress. You'll collaborate closely with the Home Manager to continuously improve training programmes, compliance, and ultimately, the quality of care delivered.
