Resource Planner Overview:

The Resource Planner is a key role within RMBI Care Company’s Home Management Team Structure and is responsible for the planning, delivery, and cover of all rota requirements for staff in all areas of the Home. The Resource Planner also has line management responsibility for all bank (casual) workers ensuring that they are engaged, competent, and are provided with fair and consistent access to available work. The Resource Planner will need to be organised and be capable of producing rotas up to six weeks in advance, ensuring not only that all shifts are covered, but that the skills mix of the staff meets the needs of the residents at all times. This role is critical in ensuring no agency use within the Home and that both planned and unplanned absences can be covered with existing staff.

As Resource Planner, you will also play an active role in assisting the Home Management team with the staff recruitment process, enabling successful candidates to join the organisation as quickly as possible, and working with the Home Management team to ensure every candidate has a positive experience.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a people-related customer service environment and have supervisory experience. You will need to be comfortable using technology and confident in your strong communication skills.

A full induction programme, training, and support will be provided to enable you to be successful in your new role, and we look forward to welcoming the successful candidate to our team. An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.

About the Home:

Part of a large charitable organisation, Devonshire Court provides residential care and residential dementia support for up to 69 residents with permanent care or short-stay respite breaks. Our in-house Training Manager is here to guide you through your induction programme, and our learning and development team is dedicated to helping you flourish and advance your career. We want you to feel confident and empowered to make the most of each day with us.

Location: Devonshire Court, Howdon Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 5WQ. Devonshire Court is located in a peaceful residential area in Oadby, Leicester, surrounded by four and a half acres of landscaped gardens. The home is a short walk from local bus services, and there is free parking on site.
