At Royal Mail, the festive season is our busiest time of the year and we couldn\’t do it without the dedication of our seasonal workers. As a Mail Sorter, you\’ll play a vital role in making sure every card, letter, and parcel reaches its destination on time and in perfect condition.
Your tasks will include:
- Unloading mail and packages from vans.
- Sorting parcels and letters by postcode.
- Moving mail through our sorting centres using trolleys and manual handling.
You should be:
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable switching between tasks.
- Able to lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg) and push trolleys with heavy loads.
Shifts Available:
- 06:30 – 14:00
- 14:30 – 22:00
- 06:00 – 22:00 (Twilight shift)
- 22:30 – 06:00
You must be available to work 5 out of 7 days per week.
