Project Management Apprenticeship Level 6 (National)

Starting Salary: £24,100 (National) or £25,100 (Inner and Outer London)

Course Length: 4 years

Working Week: 36 hours

Qualification Earned: Level 6 (Degree) BA/BSc (Hons) in Project Management + Level 6 Apprenticeship completion

Over four years, you will learn how to plan, run, and deliver real projects that help keep Royal Mail moving. You’ll work with different teams across the UK, learn new skills, and make a real impact. This is your chance to build a strong future, learn from experts, and become a leader of tomorrow.

What You Will Do

  • Help create clear project plans and goals.
  • Work with project managers to organise people and tasks.
  • Spot possible problems and help find solutions.
  • Write up meeting notes and keep project records up to date.
  • Check that work meets the right quality standards.
  • Learn how our business works and how we help our customers every day.

You will spend one day a week learning through online lessons and workshops. The rest of the week, you’ll be working on real projects that make a difference. This role may include early, late, night or weekend shifts. You may also travel to different sites across the UK and sometimes stay overnight.

Who Can Apply

  • You must have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
  • 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above in any subject.
  • Currently have Right to Work in the UK for the full 4 year programme.
  • You do not need to know about project management already.
