Overview
Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Fri. We have two duties available: 1 x Late shift – working between 12:00 – 21:30 1 x Night shift – working between 20:30 – 06:00. About the role
In order for Royal Mail to run a safe, efficient and cost effective fleet, the Network Distribution System Administrator would be expected to carry out the following tasks:
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Distribution Management System is kept up to date and data correctly input daily, all drivers are de-briefed at the end of their duty.
- Ensure that CDU/FTA, the system we use to record our HGV drivers hours, is kept up to date and data correctly input daily in order to ensure that we comply with European Legislation.
- Issuing of vehicle keys and log books in line with Royal Mail standards.
- Ensure digital tacho cards are down loaded in line with Royal Mail policy.
- Daily debrief to be carried out with all drivers, any unresolved issues to be passed onto shift manager.
- Ensure planned maintenance is carried out of vehicles and that the maintenance board and vehicle files are kept up to date.
