Location: Stevenage Delivery Office, SG1 1AA

Job type: Fixed Term 9 month contract

Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 14.00 and 20.00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan. Sunday is 3 every 5 weeks from 10:00 to 16:00.

Part of a team of multi drop drivers, you’ll deliver much more than parcels, ensuring our customers' days are a little bit brighter. However, it’s not just about driving and deliveries. Prepping your van and workload for the day, you will use route‑planning technology tools to ensure each parcel gets to the right place, at the right time. You deliver more than parcels. You deliver for the people.

  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full‑time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
