Overview

Royal Mail is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Service Introduction Manager to oversee the seamless transition of new or modified IT services into live operation. This is a key role within our Service Delivery function, interfacing with project teams across the full lifecycle to ensure services are stable, supportable, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple complex projects introducing new or changed IT services.
  • Ensure service readiness through due diligence, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow, RAID logs, and PIRs.
  • Lead service transition planning and handover to BAU operations.
  • Coordinate change control and release scheduling with project and service teams.
  • Report KPIs and contribute to IT governance and management insights.
