Senior Software Engineer, .net and Azure
Were looking for aSenior Software Engineerto design, build, and maintain cloud-native .NET applications in Azure, supporting Royal Mails customer-facing websites and backend services. Youll work in Agile sprints, collaborating with engineers, BAs, POs, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain .NET applications using Azure PaaS.
- Ensure code quality, performance monitoring, and error handling.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams.
- Troubleshoot incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Document code and processes for knowledge sharing.
What Youll Bring:
- Strong experience in .NET (C#, Web API, EF Core), Azure App Services, and DevOps.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, secure coding practices, and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and modern development patterns.
- Desirable: Experience with Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Data Lake, and front-end frameworks.
