Join the team that delivers Christmas with Royal Mail. This seasonal role is based at the Dorset Mail Centre, Witney Road, Nuffield Industrial Estate, Poole, BH17 0AA. Whether you’re looking to earn extra cash, gain experience, or be part of something meaningful, this role is for you.
Role
O Come All Ye Sorters — As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you’ll make sure every card, gift, and parcel reaches its destination on time. In this busy, hands-on role you’ll be:
- Unloading letters and parcels from vans
- Moving mail through our centres
- Helping sort letters and parcels by postcode
‘Tis the season to be earning.
Shifts and Pay
- Lates: 14:00 – 22:00 (£14.48 p/h)
- Nights: 22:00 – 06:00 (£15.74 p/h)
- Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h)
Please note, night shifts are not available to applicants under 18. Many of our sites offer an onsite canteen, social areas for breaktimes and access to a subsidised gym.
What You’ll Need To Join The Team
- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Organised and comfortable working in a busy environment – independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working on your feet, pushing/pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels), and handling items up to 11kg
- Willingness to be flexible and switch tasks as needed
