Join the team that delivers Christmas at Chelmsford Mail Centre, Winsford Way, Chelmsford, CM2 5AA. Royal Mail seasonal roles offer a chance to earn extra cash, gain experience, or be part of something meaningful.
What you’ll do
- Unloading letters and parcels from vans
- Moving mail through our centres
- Helping sort letters and parcels by postcode
Shifts
- Nights: 22:00 – 06:00 (£15.74 p/h)
Night shifts are not available to applicants under 18.
Many sites offer an onsite canteen, social areas for breaks and access to a subsidised gym.
What you’ll need
- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Organised and comfortable working in a busy environment – independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working on your feet, pushing/pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels), and handling items up to 11kg
- Willingness to be flexible and switch tasks as needed
- No previous experience required – full training will be provided
