Overview
Seasonal Mail Sorter at Royal Mail, Cardiff Mail Centre, 220-228 Penarth Road, Cardiff CF11 8TA. As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you’ll make sure every card, gift, and parcel reaches its destination on time. In this busy, hands-on role you’ll be:
- Unloading letters and parcels from vans
- Moving mail through our centres
- Helping sort letters and parcels by postcode
Shifts and pay
- Lates: 14:00 – 22:00 (£14.48 p/h)
- Nights: 22:00 – 06:00 (£15.74 p/h)
- Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h)
Night shifts are not available to applicants under 18.
Many of our sites offer an onsite canteen, social areas for break times and access to a subsidised gym.
What You’ll Need To Join The Team
- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Organised and comfortable working in a busy environment – independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working on your feet, pushing/pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels), and handling items up to 11kg
- Willingness to be flexible and switch tasks as needed
You don’t need any previous experience – full training will be provided.
