Every year, Royal Mail brings festive cheer to millions – and we couldn’t do it without our brilliant seasonal team. Whether you’re looking to earn extra cash, gain experience, or be part of something meaningful, this role is for you.

O Come All Ye Sorters As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you’ll make sure every card, gift, and parcel reaches its destination on time. In this busy, hands-on role you’ll be:

  • Unloading letters and parcels from vans
  • Moving mail through our centres
  • Helping sort letters and parcels by postcode

‘Tis the season to be earning We offer a variety of shifts, so finding one that suits you should be simple. Shift patterns include:

  • Lates: 14:00 – 22:00 (£14.48 p/h)
  • Nights: 22:00 – 06:00 (£15.74 p/h)
  • Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h)

Please note, night shifts are not available to applicants under 18.

Many of our sites offer an onsite canteen, social areas for breaktimes and access to a subsidised gym.

What You’ll Need To Join The Team

  • A positive attitude and team spirit
  • Organised and comfortable working in busy environment – independently or as part of a team
  • Comfortable working on your feet, pushing / pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels!), and handling items up to 11kg.
  • Willingness to be flexible and switch tasks as needed.

You don’t need any previous experience – full training will be provided.
