Overview
As a Post Person with Driving, you\βll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring deliveries are made come rain or shine. You\βll navigate your delivery routes, provide exceptional service, and ensure every parcel and letter reaches its destination safely. Important to Know: While some roles involve driving, the majority of the work is on foot, delivering letters and parcels directly within the community. Responsibilities
- Deliver letters and parcels to customers on foot and/or by vehicle, following assigned routes and schedules.
- Provide courteous customer service and ensure deliveries reach their destination safely, come rain or shine.
- Be adaptable to shift changes and work flexibly as part of the team.
Qualifications
- Driving Licence: Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16 kg.
- Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.
