Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday with 2 days off, working between 08:00 and 14:30. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends. Sunday working may be required - Shift timing follows as: 09:30 - 15:30.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver mail and, where required, packages in your designated area.
- Walk long distances and work outdoors in various weather conditions as part of a physical role.
- Provide friendly, reliable customer service and be a visible, positive presence in the community.
- Care for items and ensure secure delivery to local addresses.
Qualifications:
- Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
- Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
- Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community.
- Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
- Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do.
- Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
