Hours: 20 hours per week, 5 days across Monday – Sunday, across two shift patterns: 09:00 – 15:00 and 14:00 – 18:30
Due to operational demand, you may be required to work Sundays on a rota basis.

What you’ll do

A Postie delivers for their local community, meeting people face to face, and keeping the delivery network moving come rain or shine. This is a physical role that keeps you fit and enables you to support customers with their daily mail and parcels.

  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated

  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Strong sense of community and pride in your work
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

  • A guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part time)
  • Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of 1.25x for more than 40 hours a week
