Overview

Delivery Postie with Driving — Location: Wallington Delivery Office, SM6 0EQ. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 30:00 per week, five days across Monday to Sunday, 07:30 to 14:00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work one in three Sundays on a rota basis at Sutton Delivery Office.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers and businesses in the local area.
  • Work outdoors in any weather; the role is physical and involves walking for long periods.
  • Be part of the community, delivering with care and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Adhere to route schedules and safety requirements and contribute to the efficiency of operations.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated; organised, punctual and customer-focused.
  • People-person with a friendly presence in the community.
  • Ability to walk for long periods and work outdoors in any weather.
  • Strong sense of community and pride in work.
