Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days (Monday – Sunday), 13:30 – 21:30, with possible other shifts 07:45 – 16:00; Saturday and Sunday shifts required.

Responsibilities

Prepping your van and workload for the day, you will use route‑planning technology tools to ensure each parcel gets to the right place, at the right time. You deliver much more than parcels. You deliver for the people.

About You

  • Upbeat, self‑motivated and thrive whilst working independently
  • Organised, punctual with great initiative
  • Committed to the delivery of great customer service
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail
  • Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
  • Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
  • Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

  • A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week.
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week) and the option to buy extra leave each year.
