You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand. You’ll be required to work 1/3 Sundays at Chester Delivery Office.

- Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
- Driving a Royal Mail van daily
- Working in all weather conditions

- Busy, time-pressured days, especially during peak periods
About you:
- We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:
- A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
- Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
- Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
- Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
- Comfortable working outdoors and independently
