Bring trust to the doorstep as a Mail Sorter. Keeping our Mail Centres running like clockwork. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. So that together we can deliver for the people. You will be required to use manual handling equipment, experience would be desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
It’s a shift like no other centre you will cover various indoor roles in a warehouse environment. On your feet and keeping up the pace. Changing from one task to another along the sorting chain, you could be unloading mail from vans, moving it around in trolleys, sorting parcels and letters manually or operating machinery. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you’ll be a valuable part of making that happen. And you take it in your stride. What We Do For You
To deliver on our ambition we want the best and that’s why we’re delighted to offer competitive pay and benefits for a permanent role within our sector. For bringing your best and serving our customers with pride, you can expect to receive:
- A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p/hr (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
- Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week.
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week) and the option to buy extra leave each year.
