As a Mail Sorter, you\’ll be working in one of our fast-paced mail centres, supporting the smooth flow of parcels, cards, and letters at the heart of Royal Mail\’s Christmas operation.
Your daily duties will include:
- Unloading mail and parcels from delivery vans.
- Sorting mail by hand and machine, according to postcode and destination.
- Moving mail around the warehouse using trolleys and manual handling techniques.
- Switching between tasks as required to keep everything running smoothly.
To be successful in this role, you\’ll need to be:
- Flexible and adaptable – ready to move between roles if needed.
- Available to work 5 days out of 7 (including weekends where required).
- Punctual, dependable, and ready to work early morning shifts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift bags up to 15kg.
